Ways you can Donate as a Small Business Owner
Written by: Ferhan Patel, CCO of Payza
If you are a small business owner that is looking to give back through charitable actions or donations, here are some suggestions that might help you.
Choose a Charity
With your company’s area of expertise, what type of charity would fit in your field? By matching your company’s area of work with a charity organization that aligns similar interests could prove beneficial to you both. To maximize the results of your actions, choose the ones that have the greatest need.
For Every Purchase, Donate
A good way to donate without breaking the bank is to put a small percentage or dollar amount donated to a charity for each purchase that is made around the holidays. This is a win-win approach for you. With enough sales, you’ll be giving your charity of choice a nice Christmas gift.
Come Together as a Community
Being a small business owner in a community full of other businesses has its perks. You are not alone. Many other business owners might share the same vision of giving back to the community through charitable donations but do not have the platform to do it. Join forces with other businesses in your area to help the needy. Extend a helping hand to those that aren’t as fortunate to others. Even the smallest action can make a difference.
