GED Online

There can be different factors why some individuals could not obtain their high school diplomas. One factor could be disability. Due to the increasing demand and pressure at school, many students with physical disability suffer from low self-esteem and inability to cope very easily with the fast phasing school and academic activities. Not to mention the problem of bullying they face every day. Good thing, online studies have become a recognized learning option where high school diplomas can also be obtained.

Finishing high school is a major pre-requisite to proceeding to the University for a Degree Study. Students who finished high school online can be accepted to the University of their choice or continue studying online. For those who are way past their high school age, but have not yet graduated, taking GED online is their hope. To qualify for GED, they must be above 16 years of age and smart enough to score more than 60% of each test series in 5 academic subjects.

A GED diploma is awarded to a student who passes the test. This affirms and validates the student’s level of intellect and knowledge to be that of a regular high school student; thus ready to proceed to college. GED diplomas are accepted in many universities and work establishments (in the case of job application). Diplomas are not the only ones being considered for University admission. The grade point average, extracurricular activities and coursework are also part of the decision making process. A student with GED diploma can decide to continue studying online if the traditional campus study is challenging to do.
